De'Aires Cotton

De’Aires Cotton is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-Associate) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) who earned his Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Seminary of the Southwest.
He is deeply committed to creating a space where clients feel safe, seen, and supported as they navigate life’s challenges.

De’Aires works with individuals, couples, adolescents, experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, identity exploration, relationship struggles, burnout, and life transitions.

As a trauma informed therapist, he integrates CBT, DBT, Attachment Theory, and IFS to help clients strengthen emotional regulation, build coping skills, and improve communication.

As a former student athlete at University of Texas at Austin and a certified yoga instructor, De’Aires incorporates mindfulness and somatic awareness into his work, helping clients understand how stress and trauma impact both the mind and body. He especially enjoys supporting adolescents and young adults who feel overwhelmed by anxiety or unsure of who they are, helping them slow down, build confidence, and reconnect with their authentic selves.

Outside of therapy, De’Aires enjoys watching anime, finding great cookie spots, playing with his dog, going for walks, lifting weights, and having spontaneous dance parties.
